The AMN-NB is a program for allied health, psychologists, nurse practitioners, physicians, and community groups to encourage collaboration between care providers, people wanting support, and their families in the management of substance use disorder, chronic pain, and mental health.

Our Vision

A healthcare system that meets the needs of people who have, or are at risk of developing, chronic pain, mental health issues, and/or substance use disorder in New Brunswick.

Our Mission

Cultivate inter-professional communities of practice through building resilient, compassionate and skilled health-care professionals and community partners.

Objectives

Deliver practical and focused continuing professional development opportunities for healthcare professionals and community agency members, based on identified learning needs.
Provide a structure for healthcare professionals and community agency members to work more closely across institutional and professional boundaries, to increase collaboration and capacity among diverse groups of people in a variety of settings.
Provide leadership in the development of evidence-informed policy dialogue with key stakeholders related to chronic pain, mental health issues, and substance use disorder management.
